Halloween 2006

Hi Everyone,

Today we all went Trick or Treating. It was rainy, hot and humid (just like last year). Other than the horrible weather, Sophia had a great time. We went to Ray's friends complex and Sophia went door to door with two other children. At first, like usual, she was very shy and then she came out of her shell. She would go to the door without us and push the other kids so she can get candy. A couple of houses had doggies and she was in her glory. All the people just loved her and kept commenting at how beautiful she is. I don't mean to brag, but she is the most beautiful girl. She looked so cute in her little red ridding hood costume. I hope everyone else had a great Halloween too. One more thing, Sophia started the night off in a bad mood but as you can tell in the pics, she ended up being in the best mood ever. I guess it was all that candy.

On Saturday, October 14, 2006 Sophia and her mommy traveled to New York, by plane, to surprise Nonna for her 60th Birthday. We landed in JFK and Aunt Tina, Nicholas and Danny were there waiting for our arrival. It was so nice to see them again, and I can't believe how tall they both got. We all walked to where the car was and I couldn't believe how beautiful it was outside. The cold crisp air was something I was looking so forward to. I believe Sophia was loving it too because she wouldn't put on her sweater.

The party for Nonna was on Sunday, so we couldn't let her know that we arrived in Staten Island. We wanted to see her face when she saw us for the first time in NY. When Nonna came into the party, she was very surprised and then when she saw us she couldn't stop crying. We all had a great time at the party and Sophia had a chance to experience NY food.

Sophia had a chance to meet almost everyone she didn't meet in Florida. She had a lot of fun with her cousins. She was running, laughing, falling and having a really great time. The day before the party she was going up and down the stairs at Aunt Tina's and she fell on the last step and that is where she got the mark under her eye. She did great walking up and down the stair after that. You have to remember, there are no stairs in Florida, so this was new to her and she had to climb, climb, climb.

It was sad to leave and return to HOT Florida. I always said, if someone were to offer me a really great job with great pay I would move back to NY in a second.

Oh well, enough for now. Enjoy the pics.
